Restaurant Manager for international five-star hotel
What will you do?
You will manage the restaurant alongside (and in the absence of) the F&B Manager, ensuring a strong genuine presence on the restaurant floor and overall oversight. You will be in charge of leading and guiding the team to achieve great guest service and employee satisfaction, as well as ensuring that all colleagues are trained on all necessary responsibilities and participating in the hiring of new employees. You will also be in charge of inventory management and the continual maintenance of hotel operating equipment, as well as verifying and ensuring the freshness of products used and resolving complaints as needed to achieve the greatest level of guest satisfaction.- You have at least two years of restaurant management experience, preferably at a hotel
- You have a hospitality or tourism degree, or equivalent on-the-job training
- You are encouraging and reassuring, a team player who values teamwork
- You have experience working with a POS system
- You are flexible and can work evenings and weekends
- You have excellent English language and communication skills (and preferably in Dutch)
- You are legally permitted to work in the Netherlands, holding an EU/EEA passport or a valid dutch work permit
- You live in Amsterdam (or nearby). If you don’t, temporary accommodations can be arranged!
