What will you do?

    As an All-around Restaurant Employee, you’ll be part of a warm and welcoming international team, creating unforgettable dining experiences for your guests. You will be able to work in various areas of the restaurant, ensuring for a very diverse and dynamic workday. Sometimes you will be the bartender, serving guests drinks at the bar and engaging in pleasant conversations. On another day, you might be the guiding force behind the barbecue buffet by the beautiful lake, or taking care of the extensive breakfast buffet.
You will serve guests with a smile and ensure a pleasant atmosphere while serving drinks and food. Your shifts will be diverse, ranging from breakfast buffet and half-board guests to delightful à la carte dishes. You will also be responsible for preparatory tasks such as setting up tables, polishing cutlery, arranging reservations, mise en place for the bar, terrace, and restaurant. No two days will be the same!

Who are you?

  • You have relevant experience in the hospitality industry, whether at a restaurant or hotel;
  • You possess a positive, proactive, and hospitable attitude;
  • You are a stress resistant and enthusiastic team player, who can also thrive working independently;
  • You always go the extra mile to exceed guests’ expectations;
  • You can handle a flexible schedule;
  • You have excellent verbal and written communication skills in English or German, and can speak and understand Dutch and English as well;
  • You are legally permitted to work in Austria, holding an EU/EEA passport;
  • You live in Obertraun, or in the Salzkammergut region.

Terms of Employment

  • A challenging, diverse, and independent full-time position (40 hours per week, 5 days);
  • Salary of €1,750 gross, depending on experience;
