What will you do?

As a Public Area Attendant, you will perform support tasks such as cleaning up rubbish in hotel rooms, maintaining the appearance of the public areas, and keeping the corridors and restrooms clean. You will also be in charge of linen transport. In a nutshell, this is a role that allows you to be deployed in a variety of areas and functions within the hotel’s Housekeeping department.

  • You are always one step ahead, and you love to exceed guests’ expectations.
  • You are flexible regarding your working days, and don’t mind occasionally working evenings.
  • You appreciate working in a multicultural team, but you can also thrive on your own.
  • You have a good command of the Dutch and/or English languages.
  • You are legally permitted to work in the Netherlands, holding an EU/EEA passport or a valid dutch work permit.
  • You live in Amsterdam (or nearby).

Terms of employment

  • CAO Horeca salary scale 2. This is usually between € 1,725 and € 2,027 gross per month (based on a full-time contract), depending on your experience.
  • A year-end bonus of up to 100% of your gross monthly salary.
  • After your first three months, you will get a € 250 (gross) signing bonus, followed by a second € 500 bonus (gross) after 12 months.
  • € 500 (gross) refer-a-friend bonus.
