What will you do?
As Maitre d’Hotel, you will oversee the dining experience for guests, ensuring the highest level of service and hospitality. You will manage front-of-house operations, supervise and motivate the restaurant team, and maintain a welcoming and organized atmosphere. You will be the key point of contact for guests, handling reservations, seating arrangements, and guest inquiries with care and attention. Your role will also include training staff, ensuring efficient service flow, and working closely with the kitchen and management team to create an outstanding dining experience. You’ll ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations and contribute to the overall strategic development of the restaurant.Who are you?
- You have at least 2 years of experience in a Maitre d’Hotel or supervisory role in a fine dining or luxury hospitality environment;
- You have excellent leadership and team management skills;
- You possess a passion for hospitality and creating exceptional guest experiences;
- You have strong communication skills and are fluent in English (Italian is a plus);
- You are organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple tasks efficiently;
- You are experienced in working with reservation systems and managing guest expectations;
- You are legally permitted to work in Italy;
- You live in or near Menaggio.
