What will you do?
- As Housekeeping Manager, you will oversee the daily operations of the housekeeping department, ensuring high standards of cleanliness and service across all guest rooms, public areas, and facilities. You will manage the department’s scheduling, systems use, and overall cost controls, ensuring profitability and budget management. You will conduct room inspections, provide feedback to team members, and handle any issues that arise to ensure guest satisfaction. Additionally, you will be responsible for team development, including supervision, counseling, and conducting performance evaluations, while enforcing policies and maintaining quality standards.
Who are you?
- You have at least 1-2 years of hotel housekeeping management experience;
- You have a strong eye for detail and a passion for maintaining high cleanliness and service standards;
- You have experience in a unionized environment (preferred);
- You have strong organizational and leadership skills and can manage a team effectively;
- You are proficient in using hotel management systems and Microsoft Office;
- You are legally permitted to work in the United States;
- You live in or near Chicago (or are willing to relocate).
