Front Office Manager – International Hotel Group (Amsterdam)

About the role

As Front Office Manager, you will oversee the full front office operation, ensuring smooth and efficient daily performance while delivering exceptional service standards. You will play a key role in leading a diverse team, optimizing processes, and driving operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage all front office operations in a high-volume hotel environment.
  • Coach, mentor, and develop a diverse team, fostering a positive and high-performing culture.
  • Ensure outstanding guest experiences and handle escalations with professionalism and care.
  • Oversee room inventory, occupancy, and revenue opportunities in collaboration with relevant departments.
  • Drive process improvements and operational efficiency.
  • Work closely with other departments to ensure seamless guest journeys.
  • Monitor KPIs, performance metrics, and service standards.
  • Contribute to forecasting, budgeting, and strategic planning.

Your Profile

  • Strong operational experience within Front Office, preferably in a large (international) hotel with a minimum of 400 rooms.
  • Proven leadership experience managing diverse teams with a coaching leadership style
  • Strong focus on guest experience and service excellence.
  • Stress-resistant and decisive, with excellent problem-solving skills in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience with forecasting, budgeting, and process optimization
  • Proactive mindset with a hands-on approach.
  • Extraverted personality with strong verbal. communication skills
  • Fluent in English (additional languages are a plus).
  • A degree from a higher hotel management school is highly preferred.
