What will you do?

As Demi Chef de Partie, you will be responsible for preparing and presenting high quality dishes, as well as preparing the mise en place for relevant menus. You will ensure food items are of good quality and stored correctly, and will keep all working areas clean and tidy to avoid cross contamination. You will also assist other departments wherever necessary, and contribute to controlling costs, improving gross profit margins, and other departmental and financial targets.

Who are you?

  • You have experience in the kitchen of a 4-5 star hotel or high quality restaurant
  • You have a cooking degree level 2 or 3 and a Basic Food Hygiene Certificate
  • You are aware of current allergen legislation
  • You have good communication skills and can work both independently and in teams
  • You are able to work under pressure
  • You are legally permitted to work in the Netherlands, holding an EU/EEA passport or a valid dutch work permit
  • You live in Amsterdam (or nearby). If you don’t, accommodations can be arranged as long as you have an EU passport!
