What will you do?

    As Manager, you will lead the Conference & Events team, which consists of a large number of specialists. You will be a crucial sparring partner for the entire Sales team and the Banqueting Manager/department. You will report to the Regional Director of Sales & Marketing for the region and maintain frequent contact with the Director of Revenue.
    Your responsibilities will include:
  • Writing improvement plans;
  • Creating budgets and forecasts;
  • Directly coaching your Assistant C&E Manager;
  • Indirectly coaching the entire team;
  • Improving sales skills through mystery calls and training, among others;
  • Networking within the company’s various branches;
  • Optimising all sales processes and occupancy for MICE (Meeting, Incentives, Conferences and Exhibitions);
  • Jointly defining pricing strategy with revenue management.

Who are you?

  • You have 5 years of experience in a similar management position in a hotel;
  • You have at least 2 years of F&B/Banqueting operational experience;
  • You have HBO thinking and working level;
  • If you have knowledge of Opera, that’s a plus!
  • You have a good command of the English and Dutch languages;
  • You are legally permitted to work in the Netherlands, holding an EU/EEA passport or a valid dutch work permit;
  • You live in Amsterdam (or nearby).
