Chef de Partie for international hotel brand

What will you do?

You will be in charge of preparing and serving the dishes for meeting and event breaks, lunches, and dinners. As Chef de Partie you will work in the banqueting department, where you will report directly to the Sous Chef. Outside of the daily activities you will have the opportunity to make proposals to the Chef to improve the work processes and to contribute to the development of dishes and recipes. Together with the team you will ensure that guests have an unforgettable experience. Finally, you will ensure that the HACCP rules are complied with and that your workplace is organized, clean and tidy.
  • You have at least 2 years of experience in banqueting
  • You have a diploma in Food Production (MBO 3 or 4) or can demonstrate mastery of this level or relevant work experience
  • You are creative, have a hands-on mentality, and are eager to exceed expectations
  • You are guest oriented, have a forward-thinking attitude, and can work both in a team and independently
  • You aspire to a career in the kitchen and that is why you are motivated to get to know all the different stations
  • You have a good command of the English or Dutch language
  • You are legally permitted to work in the Netherlands, holding an EU/EEA passport or a valid dutch work permit
  • You live in Amsterdam (or nearby)
