What will you do?
As Bartender, you will be responsible for preparing and serving a variety of beverages to guests at the hotel’s rooftop bar. You will mix and garnish cocktails according to established recipes and portion control standards, ensuring quality and consistency. You will greet guests, take drink orders, and respond to inquiries, creating a welcoming and efficient service environment. Additionally, you will maintain the cleanliness and organization of the bar, ensuring all supplies such as spirits, mixers, and garnishes are stocked and fresh. You will manage transactions, process payments using the point-of-sale system, and ensure that all guests are properly identified for alcoholic beverage service. At the end of your shift, you will clean the bar, equipment, and work area to prepare for the next service.
Who are you?
- You have at least one year of bartending experience in a high-end hospitality environment;
- You are passionate about mixology and have strong knowledge of cocktail preparation and presentation;
- You thrive under pressure and maintain a high level of service in a fast-paced setting;
- You are a team player with excellent communication and customer service skills;
- You are comfortable working with POS systems and handling payments;
- You have a good command of the English language (proficiency in additional languages is a plus);
- You are legally permitted to work in the United States;
- You live in or near New York City.
