Bartender / Barista for renowned hospitality brand

Do you consider yourself an enthusiastic and guest-oriented bartender or barista? Would you like to develop yourself in the bar of the largest hotel in the center of Amsterdam? Then we have just the thing for you!

What will you do?

    As a Bartender/Barista at the award-winning rooftop terrace, you will be responsible for running the bar, under the supervision of the Bar Supervisor. You will prepare the drinks for guests, such as different types of coffee and cocktails, ensure that the products are always fresh and keep the refrigerators and shelves well stocked. You will also keep the bar clean and tidy, and provide top-notch service to guests.
You will work alternately during the day or take on the evening shift. The day shift starts at 10 AM and ends at 6:30 PM and the evening shift lasts from 5 PM to approximately 1 AM. During the day shift you will open the bar and be responsible for cutting the fresh fruit and vegetables. During the evening shift you are responsible for closing the bar at the end of the evening and making sure everything is ready for the next day. You will clean the coffee machines and the bar and throw away products that are no longer fresh.
  • You have at least one year of relevant work experience, preferably at a restaurant, hotel or similar work environment
  • You are knowledgeable, experienced and passionate about cocktail-shaking
  • You have strong communication skills
  • You are able to work under pressure
  • You have a good command of the English language, both verbally and in writing. Proficiency in other languages is a plus
  • You are legally permitted to work in the Netherlands, holding an EU/EEA passport or a valid dutch work permit
  • You live in Amsterdam (or nearby)
