Assistant Manager for successful group of seafood restaurants

What will you do?

    As Assistant Manager, you will share responsibility for the day-to-day management of approximately 20-30 employees. Together with the rest of the management team, you will be the point of contact for colleagues and guests. In other words, you also act as a host/hostess and make sure that all guests leave with a smile on their face.
    You will directly assist the Manager in running day-to-day operations, monitoring guest and employee satisfaction, achieving financial goals, training and developing your team, as well as scheduling and purchasing. In summary, as an Assistant Manager you will play a very important role in the functioning of your entire team and the results of the restaurant.

Who are you?

  • You have at least two years of relevant experience in the hospitality industry;
  • You are passionate and knowledgeable about food. Knowledge of wine is an advantage!
  • You are a responsible team player with great social skills;
  • You are flexible! The 9-to-5 mentality is not for you, and you do not mind working weekends;
  • You have a good command of English and Dutch;
  • You are legally permitted to work in the Netherlands, holding an EU/EEA passport or a valid dutch work permit;
  • You live in Utrecht (or nearby).

Terms of Employment

  • Full-time monthly salary of up to €3200 (excluding 8% holiday allowance), depending on your experience;
  • Average tips of €300-400 per month in cash, based on a full-time contract;
  • Travel allowance if you live more than 10 km away from your workplace;
  • 26 vacation days based on full-time employment;
  • You will be automatically enrolled in the hospitality pension scheme;
